December News

Quiet Season has arrived in Saugatuck and the town looks beautiful for the holidays. Here are some updates.

-Due to the recent increase in COVID 19 cases, Michigan restaurants are restricted to outside dining and carry-out until mid January. Some of our favorite spots are still offering cozy, heated outdoor tables. These include Borrowed Time, Guardian Brewing and Root Cafe. Everyone is doing Carry-out service. You can bring your food back to your cottage or suite or enjoy your meal at Oval Beach as the sun sets.

-Our shops, boutiques and galleries are all open and encourage you to “Shop Safe, Shop Small” this holiday season. Town has never looked better with thousands of lights on all the trees and creative window displays. Make sure to check out Kindel & Co. To find out who is open when, visit www.saugatuck.com for an updated list of business hours.

-Stay with us two nights midweek and save 10% off our Quiet Season rates. Extend your stay to three or more nights and save 20%. This special offer has been extended to March 4, 2021.

-We are offering a gift certificate special this year. Purchase a $500 Hidden Garden gift certificate and receive a free $100 gift certificate. If you buy your certificate online, we’ll e-mail you your free certificate or you can call us at 269 857-8109. This year, why not shop safely from home and support a small business. You can get gift certificates in any amount and they never expire.
