Lake Michigan keeps our lakeshore a little bit warmer this time of year. The result is our leaves change color later. Traditionally our peak color is mid to late October and into the beginning of November. Lucky for you that is when we have some midweek openings here at Hidden Garden. The slower pace of the season combined with beautiful leaves and brilliant sunsets make it the perfect time to visit.
Looking for some Halloween fun? The Village of Douglas throws one heck of an adult Halloween parade. Thousands of dressed up ghouls and goblins fill Center Street and wait for the Pumpkin King’s annual appearance. Our Orleans Cottage is still available for October 29, 30 & 31. Get dressed up and march or grab a cocktail and watch the craziness unfold from the sidewalk. It’s guaranteed to be a weekend you won’t forget!
Our Quiet Season rates take effect November 1 through next spring, ending April 30. All of our cottages and suites are just $210/night.
